Ho'oponopono. A Time-tested Way to Heal
Say it again. Ho'o - pono - pono. It is an ancient Hawaiian prayer where we learn to forgive others and ourselves, and then rejuvenate our relations. The word, taken literally, means "to put right, to make amends, to rectify".

When we reconcile with ourselves and others, we change our state of mind so that it reflects out to the world around us. We may not be able to change what has happened in the past, but we can work towards a better tomorrow by letting go of past hurt and building a new future based on love and forgiveness.
But how can we put this in practice in our own lives to strengthen our relationships?
It is quite easy and my guided meditation is a great way to start the process of Ho'opono. All you have to do is start the video and follow along.
The Meditation and Prayer
Ho'oponopono requires only 4 steps. Ho'oponopono can be done alone, with a partner, or in a group. It can be said out loud or in your head. You can practice it for 5 minutes of your day in-between a busy schedule or as a longer meditative practice. Just making a small effort to forgive can have benefits that will pay dividends in the future.
All you have to do is repeat:
Step 1: I'm Sorry
Step 2: Please Forgive ME
Step 3: Thank You
Step 4: I Love You
Each repetition of Ho'oponopono will solidify its meaning into you until it becomes an unconscious part of your everyday experience.
